Hello, I’m Christoph studio animanova

I’ve been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. I love translating my visual and life experiences into images. This process motivates me, and I find it both creative and challenging. My openness and curiosity help me with this.

I have been illustrating for companies, the education sector and multimedia for more than 25 years. As an illustrator and graphic recorder, I am comfortable with complex topics, which I approach with a clear focus and a sense of relevance. This enables me to make good creative decisions. Humor brings lightness, and charming, colorful ideas bubble up from that. But I can also draw dark. I am inspired by genuine innovation. People, environmental protection and democracy are important to me. I will support and design your project with care, original ideas and unique images.

Personal projects Christoph

At the moment, I am learning a new language, planting trees and harvesting my own vegetables. When I dig in the soil, time stands still. I love cats. And hand-drawn picture series. Sometimes I allow myself to do my own projects – out of pure passion, for fun and for the joy of experimenting.

Quarantine Days

During the first 100 days, at the beginning of the pandemic, I kept a visual diary. One picture every day. It helped me reflect on the madness that a tiny virus had unleashed. Since 2025, this journey through time has had its own website: quarantinedays.eu

Typ-o-Cat

It was great fun creating the Typ-o-Cat series. For all cat fans, lovers and those who want to become one. First on Instagram, now with its own website typ-o-cat.com and even a Shop! Over 85 designs have been created so far. I am sure this journey will continue.

Less is more …

… in 24. My New Year’s greeting for 2024 included a promise to draw one illustration per month on the theme of ‘Less is more’.
